Seeing this [official post](http://meta.stackexchange.com/q/184154/286110), it appears that instead of using TL they want us to use an off-topic reason to close a question. Current off-topic reasons to us can be at odds with TL since the question may be on-topic, but not really useful beyond a handful of users (this is always speculative).

Given users' arguments (in the answers there) in favor of still having TL, I do not understand, on what do you base your argument that TL is not a good reason.
