My fumble fingers did something (I don't know what) when I was trying to enter a comment to a question. Perhaps someone knows what happened, and can explain it.

When entering a comment, I mistyped half way through, and I was typing words right to left. But they were formatted right to left. How did I do that? How to reverse it? I was able to complete my comment, as the second half was merely a URL link and not part of a sentence. Formatting is back to normal after submitting that comment.

If I am talking about a news article, should I say "In a 2016 article of/by The Globe and Mail ... (JournalistName 2016)."

I think the most natural option is "by". However, I feel "by" would be more appropriate if I said the name of the journalist instead of the newspaper there.
