I am looking for a newer edition or book similar to The Oxford Companion to Sports and Games, (I have a 1976 edition of it)?
I tried to search a bit on OUP website but did not find anything about existence of a newer edition there.
A very naive thing, which might nevertheless bring some results, is looking in Google Scholar on books which cite that particular book. (Note that you can restrict the search to works published after some given yer.)
Last year in October we speculated that Federer might be (at least theoretically) be year-end no.1. It even sparked some questions here on sports.SE, like here and here.
This seasons Djokovic won almost everything and he already has quite big lead in both rankings (Race and ATP).
So it seems very improbable that there will be close contest for No. 1 at the end of this yer.
