It seems that it might actually have been 55-0 at Hockey Junior Asia Cup.

Google returns a few hits.

Also this site (linked from Wikipedia article) lists the result 55-0: todor66.com/hockey/field/Asia/Men_Junior_1988.html

It probably does not count for the question (since it was junior match). Still, if somebody interested in field-hockey is around, they might check whether some of the sources is reliable and maybe mention it at least in a comment.
