I'm starting to suspect that Jelly is a prank. :D
(Not really.)
The last two Jelly submissions I read were both 2 bytes long.

Q: How many spaces are there?

TwilightSparkleYour task is to input a string, and output the number of spaces in the string. This is code-golf, so least number of bytes win. Your Test Cases Double quotes are not part of the test cases. "test" => 0 "Hello, World!" => 1 "C O D E G O L F" => 7 " " => 6

Q: What should i do with this question?

The random guyI recently posted this challenge on codegolf. The idea was simple : reproduce an hexagonal logo, graphically or in ASCII art. At first i thought it would be good enouth to be interessing, but the lack of acceptability criterias kind of engraved the challenge. I tried to add some explanations, but...

Stewie GriffinChallenge Write a function/program that outputs either the n'th element, or the first n elements, in the well known number sequence: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 ... Oh, wait... I forgot the first few numbers: 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 ... Heck, I'll add a few more for good measure: 1, 1, 1, 1, ...

Q: Closing a more general challenge as a duplicate

Sriotchilism O'ZaicRecently there has been a bit of debate as to whether this question is a duplicate of this question. So I though I would bring it to meta where we can have a constructive conversation, not only about those particular questions, but about questions like them in general. Here is roughly what is h...

The only answer has only 3 votes total. We should formulate a consensus.

Q: Please Read Primes

TwilightSparkleDo you know the book Murderous Maths, in the Horrible Science series? In the book, the Laplace Princess' "ridiculous" cipher might be interesting enough and simple enough to be a code-golf challenge. Task The original cipher looks like this: Please read primes elephant help you me like cold...

@Dennis please change befunge interpreter Seed uses to the FBBI instead of PyFunge
it doesn't quite work with standard befunge.
For example, this code: &&+.@
executes correctly on FBBI
but loops forever on PyFunge, for some weird reason

@KrzysztofSzewczyk If this is on TIO, it belongs here

@TannerSwett If it is a prank, I've got a bone to pick with those who taught me it :P

Jelly is the most elaborate prank since WW1

@Veskah WW3, you mean?

3:20 PM
Eh?
Weird. I was getting an error when trying to respond to you, Adam

I'm getting the same bug. Pings and replies time out

Jelly heard us talkin' smack and is punishing us

Q: Chat bug? Pings and replies time out

DJMcMayhemI'm experiencing a strange bug. If I add a ping (@user) in my chat message, or reply to a specific message, then the message times out: Ordinary messages go through just fine.

Heh, good screen cap

Now I want to know what the folks on Mother Meta are thinking about Jelly :P

3:24 PM
Anyone else experiencing this too?

@DJMcMayhem No

@DJMcMayhem
@cairdcoinheringaahing Second test

@Veskah Is it fixed?
Oh thank goodness

Very interesting

I made a seed program to add 2 numbers
in 11 bytes
I'm so proud of myself

I know this was a year and a half ago, but I was wondering if there's still any support for it? I don't really agree with what the answer is suggesting.

Was there ever any supprt for it? There's no answer arguing in favor.

@Dennis 9 people starred the original suggestion in chat, so clearly some people agreed

i think we have enough feeds lol
the advantages are addressed in the answer on that question
which makes sense to me

@cairdcoinheringaahing Imo starring a poll is like upvoting a meta discussion: it signals that it's worth discussing, but not neccearily that you're in favor.

I don't think it should be added to TNB at the bare minimum and I cannot speak for Esolangs or Lang Dev because I never go there

3:37 PM
I wouldn't downvote your meta question, but I certainly would downvote an answer arguing in favor, unless it makes a good point that I'm missing now.

@Dennis That makes sense. Just found the proposal again and was wondering
Why did I point to the stars, when this is after it? :P
(Not arguing for, just pointing out my inability to see :P)

Oh, Chat actually was broken for a bit

Q: Fix my stuttered words

Night2Stuttering is a problem which many of us might have experienced or at least seen it. Although most of famous speech recognition softwares have serious issues with stuttered speaking, let's imagine a software which understands stuttering, but cannot fix them and only writes them as is. An example...

@cairdcoinheringaahing Easy: Valid programs have zero or one byte. The empty program solves one of the tasks, each one-byte program one of the others. There is no primality test (just "Nth prime" and "next prime"), so it doesn't meet the requirements. Score: 32-31 (maybe a number of challenges with different inputs could be solved by the empty program to improve this)

Is it bad that my last answer was almost a month ago?

@MilkyWay90 It means you've become more productive. Good for you!

8:18 PM
Or less productive, depending upon your point of view ...

@Adám i meant the other point of view
Like am I answering too slowly

@MilkyWay90 depends on how often you want to be answering. :P

@dzaima hmmm
I'd normally like to be answering daily
but the only language I can golf in is python
and I'm almost always ninjaed

@MilkyWay90 So I'll teach you APL.

@Adám yay

I'll be learning the Alexa Programming Language!

lol

Alexa, golf this program.

That's not what golfing languages mean
Alexa just loves to change the definitions of terms
