you choose 6 and 10 but why? Aren’t "the two elements that are the furthest apart" 2 and 10??

@Fatalize The biggest gap when sorted is between 6 and 10, their mean is 8.

It's weird actually because both times it happened, it was on the Boardgames.SE, which is pretty dead by SE standards (less than 3 questions/day), but there are actually a bunch of people up/downvoting MtG answers, although only 2 or 3 people are actually answering questions.
