@flawr: This Math.SE question just reminded me of how, yesterday while I was tutoring a student in Differential Equations, I decomposed a fraction into three parts (Wikipedia). I then had something like an epiphany where I realized that the denominators of the resulting fractions were basically basis vectors.
Unfortunately, the student didn't know Linear Algebra, but man, that was a cool realization.
The fraction was $\frac{x^2+1}{x-x^3}$, incidentally, which decomposes to $\frac{1}{x} + \frac{1}{1-x} - \frac{1}{1+x}$. Since these are linearly independent, it immediately follows that any polynomial with $x-x^3$ in the denominator and a numerator that is at most degree 2 can be decomposed into fractions with denominators $x$, $1-x$, and $1+x$.
I overloaded some C# operators to get a pseudo version of the Brainfuck symbols in the effort of understanding the flow of this language.

What I don't like about Evernote (I never used it, so I may be wrong) is that it seems to be one of those apps who wants to do everything: notes, calendar, OCR, and probably more. But then, I'm probably wrong, as everyone seems to like. What was your experience with it? Why are you moving away?
@LuisMendo it does try to do everything but I didn't really mind that (I just ignored the features I didn't use). I'm moving away from it because they've changed their business model so that you can now only use it for free on two devices and I don't use it so actively that I feel like paying for it.
Just realized that we're coming up on Winterbash 2016 then realized that the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about the winter season is Winterbash and not Christmas

@ConorO'Brien Look. The set of prime factors of 1,000,000 are: {2^6*5^6} There is no other possible set of prime factors, by definition. Arranging numbers but not changing them doesn't count, because the arrangement isn't labelled as unique in this case.
