Interesting. 👋👋🏻👋🏼👋🏽👋🏾👋🏿 all these hands, when viewed on a supported browser/device/field, show up in different races. The default one is 2 bytes and is 👋 and the others are combinations of the previous one and what looks like some modifier, similar to unicode diacritics.

Newer Windows versions like Windows 8 supports mounting them without uncompressing I think.

@Katenkyo You need a compression method that can compress multiple files and decompress a single file at a time. Preferably one that keeps a table of sorts and can easily have the contents of one file modified without messing up the others. Essentially, you need a filesystem that supports transparent compression. Luckily, such a thing exists.

Using OpenZFS for compressed filesystems on Linux might be a bit overkill, but it does the job well.
