@LeakyNun Not-so-mini challenge: Given a list of integer pairs, assign each pair an operator out of +-* so that the results after applying the operator to each pair results in a different answer, or print something to indicate the task is impossible. e.g. for [[1,2], [3,4], [5,6]] you can do +-* since 1+2, 3-4, 5*6 all give different results, but you can't do --* since 1-2 == 3-4.

this works roughly the same way in Brachylog: :{+.|-.|*.}a.d.

run_from_atom(':{+.|-.|*.}a.d.',[[1:2]:[1:2]:[1:2]],Z).
Z = [3, -1, 2] .

=> +,-,*

outputting the operators is annoying :p

if a language supports goto doesn't that make things reusable?

actually, lets say I make a language where you can assign statements to a variable. a = if (b) { code }. Wouldn't that make it a function under our guidelines

it would look around for a variable b under the current scope (or maybe in the declaring scope, doesn't matter), then call the code

I voted for the answer that sounded logical in your strawpoll, Rainbolt, but I don't use enums in Python so my vote could be based on faulty logic

Private enums go with the only class that uses them, and I thought that was just a given

@Bálint Okay, you can make enums private if you declare it inside of a class, but not outside of a class. So your question is answered by default.
