@ngn ^ (ASCII) and ∧ (non-ASCII mathematical symbol) collapse to the latter. and | (ASCII) and ∣ (non-ASCII mathematical symbol) collapse to the former.
@Adám I'm not sure if "nobody" is what you think, how about crazy(-er than average) APLers who are fanatics of typing everything as their perception of what's "supposed to be"
@Zacharý NARS (and its list) only strive to accept all the characters that other APLs use, not all of Unicode's homoglyphs. Hence I asked about GNU APL's ∊. Does GNU APL use a different ∊?
does anyone have any experience with working with colors? I have two rgba colors ("the source" and "the ink"). I want to "draw" the ink on the source, but I'm not sure how to mix two colors with transparency. e.g. what should the result of drawing rgba(255, 255, 0, 0.3) on rgba(255, 0, 100, 0.5)? I don't think it's as simple as averaging but I don't think it's as complicated as an HSV algorithm
@Adám funny you should ask, I'm making a graphing library lol
@ngn Maybe something like that. So it is nice for tutorials. Compare it to my lessons in the Orchard. While they were ongoing, I would write markdown formatted explanations interspersed with code+result blocks (courtesy of the chat bot). Participants could experiment with their own variations on my code. But someone reading it later cannot modify and reissue code in-place. Jupyter notebooks allow this. So H.PWiz reworking the lessons to notebooks.
If JS is for GUI, then it's probably embedded, and if Python is for scripting, it probably communicates with the rest through process control and pipes.
@Zacharý Yeah, for now. But at the same time, we are keenly observing whatever snags he hits so we can make our products easier to use for newcomers. Oh, and is using 17.0 too.
@Zacharý doesn't matter... centipedes are surprisingly fast, carnivorous, very intelligent, tricking you about the direction they're going to run to (their hind legs look like antennae), and always hiding in the dark spot where you can least see them, even if it's right under your nose; unfortunately, I definitely killed this one while trying to catch it with a jar :( well, now that I've killed a predator, I can expect an increase in the population of spiders...
@EriktheOutgolfer pets aside, it's a paradise I live in, the English dream - a country house of my own with a huge backyard, I've no excuse for not implementing the programming language that I love most, ngn/k :) The reason I'm here is, actually, that it's too hot in the city, 30+ centigrade
