@Christopher I believe this should work: Try it online!

@Riker I'm mostly asking if using the same specs, but instead of getting the number of permutations, asking if an input is a valid permutation, is a dupe or not. I might try meta.

probably not

@StephenS you should be okay

@ConorO'Brien Yeah, the padding is tricky in this case

11:01 PM
why did that get stars?

I owe you guys. Thanks

just wondering

so I can find it again

A: Sandbox for Proposed Challenges

Comrade SparklePonyName all of the files in a directory! Your task: make a program that, when run, outputs the names of all the files in the directory. For example, if I had a directory like this (listed like ls command): file1.txt ab.c important_files.zip passwords.pem The program should output: ab....

@ConorO'Brien Perhaps this one? Try it online!

@LuisMendo It seems to me like bitwise OR isn't working in MATL Try it online!

Sweet just golfed a few trillion bytes!

Q: Embedded Diamonds!

Comrade SparklePonyNo, not this. And not this either. This question is nothing like those Write the shortest code to print/return the following output: /\ /\ /\ / \ / \ / \ / /\ \ / /\ \ / /\ \ / / \ \/ / \ \/ / \ \ \ \ / /\ \ / /\ \ / / \ \/ / \ \/ / \ \/ / \ / /\ \ / /\ \...

Does anyone know what the best photo shop alternative on linux is?

imagemagick

Ty

Also, it fails on 15

11:21 PM
@DJMcMayhem Bit-wise OR is Z|. Y| is normal OR (true if the two numbers are nonzero)

Wait, imagemagick seems to be a command line tool.

@LuisMendo Ooooohhhh. Ok thanks. Which brings up my second point, searching bitwise on suevers site doesn't bring up anything.

That's my fault
Try bit-wise
Well, Matlab's fault
They write it that way (at least sometimes). I followed suit :-)

RProgN2, 22 bytes. 8B''.S{"+-><.,[]"\nü}r
Output as a stack of characters.

@LuisMendo Would it be possible to add variations so that either search works? Maybe also "bit wise"?

11:26 PM
Yes, I should add "bitwise". With the space it seems less frequent

Q: Can I Sp|Lit this wo|Rd?

Stephen SNote that this is similar to my other challenge, but it is widened to be similar to most challenges (input -> truthy/falsey), instead of asking you all to brute force something. If this makes it a dupe, let me know, but I posted it on Sandbox and asked on chat, and didn't get any negative respons...

@DJMcMayhem It works with the latest commit; try here. Will be incorporated in next relase. Thanks for the idea!

@LuisMendo I've noticed the docs in general are pretty hard to find some things. Would it be possible to tag certain words as higher priority? Cause if you search "or" then you get every doc containing "or", but Bitwise and logical are obviously closer to what you're looking for

Yes, that would be great, but involves a lot of work. Right now it's only text search

11:51 PM
@ATaco some other persons code ofc
