I partly agree with @CharlieBrumbaugh. Rudeness can turn people off and make them not participate. And this isn't something new. I've been on the receiving end of the same user. @Sue @StrongBad I understand when someone would name people for personal gains, but this seems a constant problem some of us face when we question the user.

And unfortunately once the mod deletes a comment, there's no way for others to notice why some users are bothered by some others. Some of us who frequent here might get a bit upset with certain comments because we either read them or were the ones who received them.

Having said all this, I personally move on fast and do not care much. I can understand why Charlie is bothered and why he wouldn't want to be all anonymous about these incidents which are reoccurring on a daily basis.

@CharlieBrumbaugh Hi Charlie - I apologise on behalf of the mod group if it feels like "nothing happens" - things do happen, but not necessarily for public consumption. And tallies of bad behaviour do add up to suspensions of increasing length, so flagging really helps us with that.
