@imsodin I wish. But IFSC seems to have a talent. A talent with the clocks. This time no stalling of the clocks took place. So they invented a new time system XD

Morning/Evening all :-)

@WedaPashi I;d say opinion based too. Also likley to just attract spam

9:28 AM
@liam: Morning mate! I was a bit confused and didn't want to go all Jurassic park on a new user, so I skipped it in review :-)
Dropped a comment instead.

Ask them nicely :D — WedaPashi 1 min ago
LOL
@WedaPashi

@Liam: :D Sorry for that! Just, couldn't resist :D

@imsodin So this morning when I checked the review queues there was a red indicator on one them. Would be nice if it showed on the regular page without clicking

3:49 PM
On the other hand it was a spam post and 4 hours later its still live

The late answer you mean?

@Ricketyship Yes

Well we voted to delete it
I believe it's already deleted.
Post monsoon hikes

That didn't show up in my review list
have voted to delete

Saw an answer with deprecated code, stackoverflow.com/review/suggested-edits/19524423 but apparently updating it to the latest deviates from the authors intent
I mean the answer fails to worth with the latest version of PHP but if the author wants to use a old unsafe version I guess that's what intented

Sigh. Well, at least we don't have the problem of deprecated code here.
I've no clue how that makes sense. To say I'll keep running it on older version means the answer will never be useful for anyone using a newer version

@Ricketyship especially when the answer was out of date when written

@Liam outdoors.stackexchange.com/questions/19148/… the answer to this question is very specific to UK. In India we have no such laws. I'm not sure how the laws are in other countries. So either we edit the question to make it specific to UK, or edit the answer to cover all geographies where Kingfishers are found :)

4:43 PM
@CharlieBrumbaugh Same here, I think it is a bug that was reported ages ago, reproduced by a SE employee (I think), but nothing happened since: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/306417/…
@CharlieBrumbaugh Crazy, I flagged it as spam before midday. I thought spam flags are even cross-site somehow (at least there are very often comments from non-TGO users on them). Please everyone, do flag that stuff as spam (not only delete), then it vanishes faster

@imsodin I voted to delete as did @Ricketyship so I think it just needs a vote from you

Yep I voted to delete

@imsodin It takes 6 spam flags but only 3 delete votes to delete it

1 hour later…
6:00 PM
@CharlieBrumbaugh I did both, no idea why it thinks I didn't.

6:16 PM
it's deleted now. For some reason @imsodin's vote did not register

@Ricketyship I consider myself part of Community♦ :)

@imsodin haha fair enough ;)
@imsodin @CharlieBrumbaugh outdoors.stackexchange.com/questions/19148/… This question should either be made specific to UK or the answer should be made generic to the whole world. The problem is I can't vote on the question as too broad (because the question isn't, but the answer is).
Should the question be edited? Because when I first saw the question, I was all excited about what could be the answer. Then I see the answer and it's all about UK laws and regulations :/

@Ricketyship It's got the UK tag, so I guess it is meant as UK specific (Liam is from over there)

Should the title have UK in it? Because I'm not sure how many people go and check the tag before seeing the question
I hadn't even noticed the tag till you pointed it out.

@Ricketyship That's a topic of debate. I think in general it is thought that tags alone are enough. Personally I'd think having the information in the question body would be good.

6:28 PM
@imsodin Same here. Because neither the title, nor the body mentions about UK. So I read it as a generic question on how to photograph a kingfisher (since they are spectacular when they hunt and all).
Anyway, I'll for now wait for Liam to come back on it.
Have a good night guys, and a good day
Good night @Willeke :D
Good night @imsodin

Hi @Ricketyship Hello @imsodin

have a good day @CharlieBrumbaugh
hi @Willeke was about to leave. How is your bike adventure going on?

I had to patch the rear tube as well but after that I went on a 25km day trip and today went to work on it.
So two flats, one each wheel.
Sleep well @Ricketyship

Oh good :)

Not sure about the laws about king fishers in my country but I would go with the advice for the UK. (If I ever find one that will sit still long enough that I can get out a good camera.
So I think the UK based answer is a good one.

6:34 PM
@Willeke See that's the problem, there's no law in India for it :P So i wouldn't agree :D

Write an India based answer then.

Yeah, but then, each country needs to be covered. That's where Charlie said it comes with a uk tag
so the question is specific to UK. And i feel either the title, or the body (if not both) should mention it.

I agree there and I have (on travel) edited countries in. I prefer the header.

yeah...
anyway, i'm off. Have a good week ahead people.

Regarding the UK king fisher question, we probably should put "UK" in the title, because the question really is specific to the UK since most other countires probably don't have those restrictions
Complicating this is that the last time someone brought up whether something needed to be in the title, they did it in a highly abrasive manner
