@PhiNotPi I think it's possible to avoid destruction by your's and @Sp3000 's bots as long as they aren't directly above or below.

12 hours later…
2:37 PM
Can we not use console.log?

You can only use it in a test entry, not in your actual answer

3:02 PM
@PhiNotPi What does your bot do in this case?

Am I allowed to say "watch and find out?"

Preferably not :)

Well, what do you think it does?

Either move up or down one, put itself in danger, or split up.

I think it would move down. Moving up doesn't accomplish anything, splitting up makes it sad.

3:09 PM
What if it is against a wall at the bottom.

I don't know.

It seems that this position can stall your bot. As long as red doesn't get above or below your bot, it's safe, right?

I've already worked all of this stuff out on paper, and it's all about whether one bot is above or below the diagonal of the other.
In terms of when kills can be forced.

Tiny hint: It's better to be below than above ;D

Basically, our bots represent the first to have achieved the next level of strategy.
Once red does the same, the game will be even again.

3:24 PM
I think the interesting thing about freezing past submissions in place is so it doesn't turn out like BFJoust
Where by the end everyone was basically optimizing against specific bots

The next step for blue is to find someone willing to serve as a satellite for our bots.

Or just have move blues pair up, but with better code :D

3:50 PM
So if a red is below and to the left of your bots, your bots move up and left until they are over the red bot?
