Q: Mathematical relationship between membrane conductance and conduction velocity?

I feel very much a 'the problem is you'-vibe with this question, obviously it is clear what I mean when the full body of my question is: "Could anyone list the biases or cognitive errors or wrong assumptions that lead to the infamous case of Google Flu?". Right?

Q: Why is motivation temporary?

Whenever I see an inspirational film, read an inspiration quote or something, something grows in me which tells me to change and do something. But after sleeping or 4-5 hours, it vanishes. I just forget about it. Why does this happen? Is there an hormone which causes this? How to not let that fee...
