Why they can't just use monospace and sans-serif... There's a whole thing in browsers to be able to set default fonts that makes more sense for accessbility than using the system fonts
(as in, use them directly instead of as fallbacks)
mainly this bugs me because I use an Ubuntu-derived OS, but my UI font is Source Sans Pro (same as the Mathematica notebook sans-serif font in fact). However, they're like, "Oh, you're Ubuntu, here's that Ubuntu font because it's the system font, that's what you want, right?"
