To let the cat out of the bag for everyone else: My most successful software product is rather small plugin for IntelliJ that forces users to keep their hands on the keyboard by showing the shortcuts they can use when clicking on a button with the mouse.
Last weekend, I promised to release a new version that works with the latest IntelliJ IDE and in the week before, I kept thinking about how to help JM beyond my "caffein overflow".
One thing to note is that the Key Promoter is really successful which means we are close to reaching half a million downloads. In each new release, I display an information dialog where I display latest changes. This time, I thought about trying to bring two completely different communities together.
This is what I came up with:
I have to say, I'm touched by every donation done by a Key Promoter user.
