I updated the tab layout in EasyIDE:
@Kuba what do you think?
I was aiming for a more IntelliJ-like setup
It also gives me more menu space without taking up much more DockedCell real estate

2:26 AM
Here's what it looks like if you only want the Plugins menu:
Wow this just looks so much cleaner:

@C.E. Ah, love it. This is what I want for GrammarRules...

@b3m2a1 looking good

Can anyone reproduce this on WIndows? mathematica.stackexchange.com/q/195642/12 (please comment there)

Wow, I never used wolfram data drop before, it's a really nice feature

3:17 PM
@CarlLange pretty slick, isn't it? I've used it a couple of times to gather sensor data from beta users.

3:34 PM
@kirkus Yeah, I was just using it from my tessel.io to test measuring solar panel output, really cool. I wonder how it performs at really large amounts of data (let's say GB)
I really enjoyed it, very quick and easy, and then things like Dynamic@Refresh[DateListPlot@Databin["XXXX"], UpdateInterval->20] is so cool
@kirkus What kind of sensor data, if you don't mind me asking? I'm curious because I work with air quality sensors sometimes
Oh, huh, the limit for databin size is 175MB, ah well

4:34 PM
@CarlLange IMU data from a wrist wearable
at the time I did it (2 years ago), I was able to just make a new databin per user per day, which worked pretty well.

4:58 PM
Ah, very cool

5:43 PM
Play[Sin[440 2 Pi *t*(Floor[Re[Zeta[1/2 + I*t*3/2*Pi]]] + 3)], {t, 0, 20}]
Music of the zeta function. Sounds like a Scottish bagpipe.

6:09 PM
Must say that's really nice. Very useful for functions I never want to have to rewrite
(In this case, trained predictors)
@MatsGranvik Now use Sound@SoundNote["ASharp", 1, "Bagpipe"] to play it as bagpipes ;)

6:57 PM
f[x_] := Sum[
Power[-n, n - 1]/Factorial[n]*Gamma[n, -Log[x]], {n, 1, Infinity}]
Plot[f[x], {x, -10, 10}]
I am not getting any output
just running^

Clear[f, x, n];
f[x_] := Sum[
Power[-n, n - 1]/Factorial[n]*Gamma[n, -Log[x]], {n, 1, 100}]
Plot[Re[f[x]], {x, -10, 10}]
Plot[Im[f[x]], {x, -10, 10}]

this will fix it?

It gives plots on my computer.

if convenient could you send a screenshot of the plot?
my computer is rather slow

7:03 PM
thank you
though i wonder why this mathematica doesnt give the expected output like desmos does

Did a thing some people might find useful. Maybe good for the WFR...

11:40 PM
so now it's easy to convert from an arbitrary SRS to stuff WL will understand given only the EPSG code:
(I guess actually given only the proj4 proj-strings, the epsg code is just sugar)
