@Fx and @SjoerdCdeVries I'm of the opinion, and I really should post this on the meta question, that confirmation within our community is sufficient to warrant bugs. We're not likely to abuse it, and have enough collective expertise that we can honestly say something is not working as it should.

Hi, does anyone know anything about the .mx files sitting under \Mathematica 8.0.4\SystemFiles\Kernel\SystemResources\Windows\Explore\? I can only open the ManipulateMaker by evaluating Explore`ManipulateMaker[]...

Ok, by pure luck, I ran into this line browsing some old stuff of mine: Experimental`Explore[]. Interesting interfaces to understand/manipulate various graphics.

@IstvánZachar Explore`ExplorePlots[] turns on plot exploration by the looks of it. After running it and plotting something using Plot I get a popup menu with some options if I hover over the plot

Whyyyyyyyyyyyy do they hide these things

Another call to`Explore`ExplorePlots[]` switches it off

@Rojo I think I posted that in the channel originally. I crashed both the front end and the kernel with that several times ... also some parts don't work or are missing. Just be careful with and save your work before you play :-)

@Fx I was especially annoyed about those IsomorphicGraphQ bugs ...

@Szabolcs, yeah, playing too much crashed mine once. But I find it very useful. Not just for me, but for dragging a couple of people into using MMA. I'm used to being careful, my MMA always crashes when I least want it to
