@CarlLange violently agree. I'm on the other end of the spectrum; I couldn't care less if it ever goes open source, and no article is likely to make a difference to either side.

@kirkus Yeah. Originally I thought I would care, but as soon as I actually bought into the language it went out of my mind completely.

I've thought many times about writing a replacement for the Dynamic-based GUI construction paradigm using stuff like this: mathematica.stackexchange.com/a/167031/38205 but have never found the thing I want to build...

But if anyone has an interesting GUI they're building I'd be happy to consult/give advice
