@Szabolcs have you ever seen FunctionInformation used as a key in a PacletInfo file? It's in the source but I don't know what it does.

But in Paclet.m there are functions to process it

Like it's supposed to point to a FunctionInformation.m file which in the layout contains a bunch of lists which I think map onto what goes into SyntaxInformation
