You need more than one number to calculate a result in percentage. Your question is severely lacking information, and does not include the code you'd like us to help you to fix a specific issue with. Originally, React mainly used class components, which can be strenuous at times as you always had to switch between classes, higher-order components, and render props. With React hooks, you can now do all these without switching, using functional components.
