So, someone just published a table of the number of questions on each site that make it to Hot Network Questions since March 2019 (when stats on HNQ began to be tracked.)
Looking at that table, this site has produced just 167 HNQs, which is on the lower side.
This site has had a penalty in Hot Network Questions, dating from back when it was called Programmers. However, it may not make sense to have it now, since this site's scope has changed drastically.
Before posting on meta about it, I'd like to ask site regulars: is it worth removing this penalty factor for this site?

Hmm, I bet @gnat has an informed opinion on HNQ penalty adjustment

This question is too broad for SO. If your question is regarding how to approach a problem you should post on Software Engineering instead. — Rory McCrossan 54 secs ago

When people say “CI/CD,” they are only talking about continuous integration. Nobody is talking about (or practicing) continuous deployment. AT ALL. It’s like we have all forgotten it exists. It’s time to change that.

This question seems too high-level and broad for StackOverflow, maybe you could see if softwareengineering.stackexchange.com or superuser.com would be a better fit? — Random Davis 36 secs ago
