considering you've given an answer to this and you're on both platforms, do you consider this question off-topic for SO ? would it not fit better in software engineering, perhaps ? i consider this more of a theory question — a_local_nobody 10 secs ago

I think your question "might" be a better fit on softwareengineering.stackexchange.comTschallacka 6 secs ago

"Is it possible to ____?" is generally considered too broad to be a good question for Stack Overflow—the answer is usually: "yes, it's probably possible, but describing how to do it would entail designing a large piece of software." Instead, you should try to build it, and ask a question when you encounter a specific problem. Please see Why is “Is it possible to…” a poorly worded question? for more information. — Ryan M 48 secs ago

This should be asked on software engineering instead of stack overflow. But what do you want to call from? A computer? Another phone? You need to give more context. — niclaslindgren 44 secs ago

Please notice that SO is about specific coding questions, and not a design or recommendation forum. Your question is off-topic here, but it may be on-topic for the Software Engineering SE sister site. — desertnaut 1 min ago

Likewise @CharlesDuffy programming questions related to game design are also on-topic at gamedev.stackexchange.com -- might be an even better fit than Software Engineering as the folks there are contextual subject-matter experts. — TylerH 27 secs ago
