I have a friend who hacks PlayStations and Genesis emulators. He doesn’t have a high level understanding of how programming works; in true hacker ethic, he changes stuff and sees what happens. I want to get him a book on embedded systems programming or systems programming (whichever one is relevant here). What should I get him?
