Q: Structured Tag Cleanup: [career]

Mark TrappWelcome to the first structured tag cleanup! Based on the voting in the call for proposals, the first round goes to the career tag, with 567 current questions. As a means to contain the disaster, the tag has been renamed to stci-career, which should prevent people from adding any more question...

 Lounge<C++>

Today we're daydreaming about C++26 reflection

Would anybody know anything about "templates"? (I am referring to my question: programmers.stackexchange.com/questions/136147/… )

Has anyone ever used Code Bubbles? very interesting project but it seems nothing came of it

@BenBrocka I remembered seeing that early on but never followed up on it... Debugger canvas is based on the original concept. Not sure, but I think it's the first implementation of the concept.

@BenBrocka What are you doing here?? Go back to the Heap you came from ;)

@Jae We started cleaning up the career tag. For the next couple of weeks it would be preferable to add questions you think are off topic or otherwise close worthy to this answer instead of flagging them. Only for questions tagged , for everything else it's business as usual...

I've never seen that though. It looks cool, although I'm not sure how confusing it would be to use

Heard about it from a research paper in an HCI class, looked pretty sweet but I'm not aware of much progress. There was supposed to be a follow up project called Code something (spaces?) but I don't know what happened to that either
@Rachel Actually I'm from UX! I end up on lots of places

@BenBrocka Oh well you're actually welcome here, but its pretty dead most of the time

5:05 PM
I noticed

@BenBrocka I'm afraid to click on that...

@YannisRizos Don't click it!
My browser still hasn't recovered.... ;)

Hey, it only took my browser 20 seconds to load
back in the day you'd be lucky if you got one text page to load in 20 seconds!

Don't remind me of the dial-up days...

arg, the programmers.stackexchange.com in the description isn't a link

5:13 PM
@MarkTrapp, @YannisRizos Can one of you fix that?
aaannnddd back to crickets (aka. work)

5:32 PM

A: "Votes cast" should include votes on deleted contributions

Nick CraverStarting with the next build, votes on deleted posts will be included in the profile counts. This will also apply to the various voting badges to match: Civic Duty, Electorate, Suffrage, Vox Populi. Also, the badge progress on review should remain accurate. Downvoting bad content (which usuall...

Theres gonna be a lot more downvotes now.

@Jae Eh, not sure. People's vote counts on their profiles will certainly go up, but our deletion policy has been pretty lax, with questions not being deleted for sometimes months. If people weren't downvoting then, I don't think they will now merely because of this change.
