Can someone explain why my answer was edited?

@Prithubiswas According to Dealing with answers in comments, it is fine to “ acknowledge in the beginning that this answer is an elaboration of the answer given by the other user in the comments.” In this particular case that comment is just a link to a Google Books page. That is not an answer, and links may be deleted at any time.
I would suggest that if the proof is taken from a book then you add that information to the answer instead. Just my 2ct.

@ParclyTaxel I don't know. Perhaps the more general question is if a question tagged with can't be too broad.
@Prithubiswas Note also that you can ping all editors of your answer. So in this case you could leave a comment starting with "@amWhy" below your answer, and ask for an explanation.

@StubbornAtom One of them has even been answered despite being a PSQ, because there were not enough close-votes.
The other two also need more close-votes.

@MartinR I have deleted my answer because I think my answer isn't useful at all for future readers. I hope that is fine .
But anyhow Martin R , thanks for your response.

@user21820 I have already voted to close them.

I suggest to undelete this answer to the “Do we want accepted answers unpinned on Math.SE?” discussion. Whether agree with the expressed claims or not: Answers on Meta can be subjective, and deleting an answer should (IMO) only be done in extreme circumstances (spam or violations of the Code of Conduct). In all other cases, up/down voting should be sufficient.

@MartinR Done.

In the second, both the question and the answer received utterly incomprehensible upvotes.

@Peter I have downvoted both the question and the answer.

This answer contains a serious error (see the comments). It should be downvoted and deleted.

It can be deleted now.

Can someone explain to me what is considered "spam"?

@Prithubiswas I always thought it would be a post with the only purpose to advertise something, but some flags from me about posts that were clearly only advertising and nothing else were declined, so this seems to be a false assumption.

5:54 PM
@Prithubiswas "Spam", in the context of the SE network, is a message which (1) is intended to advertise a product or service, which (2) does not disclose the author's affiliation with that product or service.
"Use the tutoring service tutormegood.com!" is spam. "I run the tutoring service tutormegood.com" is not spam.
Spam on the SE network is very narrowly defined.
(This concludes my five minute break between classes---back to the theorem mines with me!)

Needs to be closed until context is provided, ideally the first question will also be eliminated: math.stackexchange.com/q/4262621/29335

That situation above still needs close votes.
