math.stackexchange.com/q/4059921/876009 This is a old question of mine. At that time I wasn't much aware of EOQS. Should this be closed? At that time I was new here and didn't provide context. So should this be closed and deleted or not because knowing value of $a_2,a_3,a_6$ isn't context unless provided with the steps of achieving it?

@JitendraSingh You can still improve the question, and bring it up. To be honest it wasn't the worst we've seen around, but still close worthy as it stands. I'm closing for now, but if you improve the question then I'll retract the vote.
How to improve the question? (1) You said you were reading from an IMO book : which book? Which chapter, exercise etc.? (If necessary, what was discussed in the chapter?) (2) Apart from that, were there similar questions you were able to solve in the same book? (Similar is how you think about it : for example, a sequence with $a_{2n},a_{2n+1}$ separately defined would count as a similar problem, maybe). This will be sufficient.

@XanderHenderson I forgot the script since the last time (~2 years ago) I tried it, Tampermonkey mysteriously slowed down the browser. I'd stick to the format now.
Again two PSQs sneaked into the bounty list: C1 (blatantly) and C2.

@Peter Thankfully, it is now gone. Why do some users think this site is a "show and tell" and not a Q&A site?

@Saad C1 needs moderator attention because bountied questions cannot be closed CC @quid @XanderHenderson

@TeresaLisbon I am not even sure whether is makes sense to speak of "eigenvalues of polynomials"

@TeresaLisbon Gone

@amWhy Thanks!
@Peter No clue, the answer was even funnier. All round, an absolute horror.

@TeresaLisbon Now closed.

@amWhy That was fast! It's been posted yesterday so we can push for downvotes and deletion as well.
Sorry, it's been Locked.
In fact, it's been returned.

5:33 PM
@TeresaLisbon Up for deletion.

@user21820 Thanks! One delete vote left.

@Peter It's the same one..

@Peter This one was truly nauseating.
And was posted twice for that reason.

Haha..

5:35 PM
@TeresaLisbon I see! Good riddance!

@user21820 I know. I could also have linked the chat-post

@amWhy I swear! When I see content like that, I genuinely wonder if people are doing it "just because they want to help". Direction to better resources simply has to be the right way of helping there.

@TeresaLisbon I would give it the benefit of the doubt. More context could help, but it's hardly a PSQ. It does provide some, albeit not a lot of, context.

@amWhy True, I let it go for the same reason, but thanks for your thoughts.

@user21820 நன்றி வணக்கம்!
In return, I shall parse your avalanche with abounded enthusiasm!
D1-D12 now have 2 delete votes each.

@TeresaLisbon Only one more del-vote needed.

@amWhy Thanks!
Thoughts on this question? This seems to center around the interpretation of an English sentence.

@amWhy When will users realize that answering is not a way to be of help there?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...*The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, the answer is blowin' in the wind!*

True, it is that kind of a question, isn't it?

"Can’t you just say $\ x^2<xy<y^2\ $?" tells the complete story. The two inequalities are obvious. Nothing, really nothing to add.

How many times will users answer crap....

6:10 PM
@TeresaLisbon Up for deletion now.
@Peter The question was how to deal with negative x,y, not just to prove that statement. But it's a pointless duplicate anyway.

@TeresaLisbon gone

Hello, @user3733558! Welcome!

8:01 PM
This question really, really needs to be deleted. The only edit the OP made to send it to the review queue, was including a rant in bold face, about its closure. Help!

8:24 PM
^^^^^ It seems the OP deleted their closed question.
This question, my second to last link posted here, is now closed. I'll leave it to others to decide whether downvotes or deletion is appropriate. Thanks!

@vitamind one more close vote needed. How'd it get 5 upvotes? (With at least four answerers, I guess that's to be expected :( )

I guess this room clears out, after 2:00 p.m. my time (-5 UTC).
Hello, @Yorch! Loved you post in mathematics!
@Yorch From whence cometh thy username?
Rhymes with Porch, Torch, but I see it is a known surname, and there's a musician/artist by the name of Yorch. Cool!

haha
We have fought before
and Yorch, is the mexican nickname for Jorge
anyways, peace and love

@Yorch Oh, we have? I was just going to ask that, when you said, "We have fought before"!
@Yorch Indeed, Peace and love!

10:35 PM
I don't know about that musician
It's the result of mexicans saying george incorrectly over decades

@Yorch Copy of my search result.

oh, my search result just turns up restaurants owned by people known as yorch
yorch burgers, los taco de yorch etc
