Is there enough of a significant difference between this answer and this answer to keep them both? If not, which one should be deleted?

I am not sure that I understand what is being asked here, but it seems a little nonsensical to me. Generate a random permutation of the first $n$ numbers on the fly‭ - Rohit Pandey‭ 2021-02-27 23:45:02Z

@XanderHenderson: out of those two almost identical answers I find the first one to be better. But do wait for feedback from others. It's also strange that same user gives almost same answers twice for same questions.

@XanderHenderson I am astonished that such a crystal-unclear question got $7$ upvotes. Even for the closure there is a long way to go.

@Peter I'm astonished as well. I find it upsetting that some folks reflexively upvote just on the basis that "it's a long question, therefore the asker put a lot of effort into it."

Hello everybody! I will be here for the next 1.5 hours probably.

@TeresaLisbon Hello! I hope all is going well :-)

@amWhy Just finished shifting house and setting up the internet, fixing the electricity and gas supply, and some other small finances. Thankfully won't shift from here anytime!
This one can be deleted now.

@TeresaLisbon Sounds like a lot you accomplished!

@amWhy Yes, it feels nice to be involved, given I'd actually never been involved in house shifting before. But I could get on MSE only about a few minutes a day, so I'm happy now things are good!
I also wanted to point out that in this thread, I replied to a high-rep user who I felt was being rude in general, and seems in general to be moderator averse. If someone could dig up some history it would be nice.
He/she is otherwise not a bad contributor, but might feel strongly about a few rules. I just wanted that attitude to not transfer to OP, who is a new person. If this person goes around saying that people on MSE are this and that, then I think that warrants a reprimand, as I gave.
A lot of people are now clamouring for downvoting-with-comment , as opposed to without comment. I will try to be more of an example in this regard, but as I have clarified : one unified comment addressing this is enough, if it is highly up voted by other visitors then action is expected.

5:13 PM
@TeresaLisbon Unless all upvoters are expected to leave a comment, or one unified comment, whenever upvoting, I cannot agree. I have found that there are more unjustified anonymous upvotes, than there are anonymous downvotes.

@amWhy I have been, since I read one of your posts, religiously following the same for up votes as well. I have explained all my recent votes (whether up or down) in comments.
I have also mentioned this in a couple of other meta threads, that upvoting without explanation is just as dangerous.

@TeresaLisbon I'm not referring to you personally; I have witnessed that you are a very responsible and conscientious voter. But most who demand disclosure of downvoters via forcing them to comment, argue against the same policy for upvoting.

@amWhy Oh that is wrong. Will look to get on meta threads to change that attitude. You see, everyone is focused on downvotes : new users are asking "why am I getting downvotes" and "how can I avoid downvotes", while not asking "why am I getting up voted" and "how can I get up voted" : the tonality of questions is negative from the beginning! The emphasized point in conversation is always the downvote, unfortunately. We must strive to change the narrative.

@TeresaLisbon It's sort of battling human nature. None of us is eager to question upvotes, because they make us feel good; but most of us are prone to question downvotes. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it reflects a sort of built in bias most of us each hold about our our posts, etc.

@TeresaLisbon In a site with tons of bad posts upvoted to heaven (answers as well as questions), it would be ridiculous to punish the cases of bad posts where the users react correctly with bad feedback. Sorry, but I see no reasonable argument for the expectation of comments from down-/close-/delete-voters.
To my experience, this only creates a poisened atmosphere , in particular if the "victim" disagrees. This is not worth the effort to explain the action.

5:28 PM
@Peter No sorry please , you are just putting your point across, and I appreciate that. I try to maintain a positive tonality while speaking to users to offset action. I have had incidents where tonality has created an issue, but in general users that haven't responded, I've just gone on to list their question here for C/D, and those that do respond with edits get some respect. It is a poisoned chalice, I do agree, but sometimes it works.
@Peter I have not had many users react negatively to my feedback, in truth, apart from a couple of occasions which were unnerving.

This question has had no activity for two days, and no response from OP, no answer.
This question can be closed for being vague, and also for being addressed in the comments.
Also for belonging on physics.
Exiting for the day, good night!

Thanks, @Xander, for you comments here. Somehow we need to convey on this site, at least on this site, a correct answer is not in and of itself, a good answer; but a correct answer to a good question should be the goal. You've helped in this respect.
