It isn't quite seeking personal advice (though it is very close), but "needs context" doesn't seem quite right at all. Opinion based?

@amWhy I actually shifted residence with my family . We were in this for the past two days. No internet as well. This will be the case till Monday. But thank you so much for enquiring. Indeed I consider the stack family my next-of-kin, so I will be back soon. Also having to deal with a punctured tyre and substandard furnishings don't help! Lot of work to do

one more delete vote needed I tried to reason with answerer and gave a little detail from my own personal experience. Somehow that put them on defensive / aggressive mode. I wonder if there something wrong/rude in giving out some personal experience.

The first comment of this should be removed. But which reason for the flag is the right one ?

D1, D2, D3.
D4, D5, D6.
D7, D8, D9.

D5 : "calculus is not allowed" - weird, it is the obvious approach , and to be honest, I would not have an idea avoiding it.

@Peter Personally, I would, because using term-wise differentiation requires understanding uniform convergence and things like that, which definitely most students who are told to differentiate know nothing about and hence should not use.
Despite that, it is a technique that students should eventually be taught when they have the technical facility to understand the uniform convergence involved.
@Peter Anyway all your D requests are now gone.

please close this PSQ. I answered it and later deleted my answer. The temptation to answer easy PSQs is great and I guess I fell into the trap.
@user21820: gave vote on all except D11 and D12 as vote count limit reached.

@ParamanandSingh Thanks!
@XanderHenderson: Please close this because it is a useless amateur attempt to 'help Brocard out' on the open conjecture...
C1, C2, C3.
C4, C5, C6.
C7, C8, C9.

@user21820 From the "lesser important" open problems , Brocard's problem is probably the one with the most trials, most of them being in the category "not even wrong".

@user21820: the new review system is so nice for mobile devices. My close votes are also finished in dealing with your list.

12:43 PM
@Peter Maybe they 'know' the top open problems are too hard for them but maybe the ones that didn't get much popular press are within their reach! =P
@ParamanandSingh Nice! And thanks!

I think any routine limit question is a dupe. Even many tough ones which are not routine have been discussed.

@amWhy Perhaps I should add that (to my knowledge) we cannot get from SEDE number of reviewers. But we can get (some approximation of) the number of close voters. I have posted a few messages related to this in another chatroom: chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/19138/conversation/…

How could the (absurd) comment about racism get 4 marks ?

@Peter Which comment? Where? Sorry if it is referenced above; I've been out of this room for awhile. (hours)

@user21820 All D's are gone. I got to them on the later side, when all but four of the twelve had been deleted. I cast the final d-vote needed on the other four.
@Xander Quick question about this meta post I could swear I commented, and not offensively, but see no trace of it. It is possible I self deleted my comment, before even posting it, or after. My only point in commenting is that it is often far more difficult to write a helpful hint for an OP, than it is to just answer. Any way, since deleted comments still show up for mods, did I post and delete my comment, or do you see no post from me?

@MartinSleziak Very enlightening! Thank you!

@amWhy It looks like there is a comment there which you self-deleted.
Still a feeling that post-Purim hangover? :P

@XanderHenderson Ahh, Okay. And yes, I guess so on the hangover!

It's weird that I could have sworn I posted a comment, but couldn't recall deleting it!
