@alex there is likely some room for difference of opinion what level of involvement of the site is needed to be allowed to post here, but it is somewhat hard to believe that you somehow by chance picked an ancient post that just so happens to be answered by the most active user here. If you want to contribute to maintain site quality that may be fine, if you come here to stir up things that's not acceptable. For now frankly it rather looks like the latter.

@quid your "frank interpretation" is rather unacceptable. Is this your final judgment or not?

This room is almost the most popular chat room on the site and it pops up every single day. All the active users here claimed to be open to all suggestions of problematic posts and of course including their own ones. The probability of seeing a post answered by the top user of the site is not that low.

The nominations I'm going to post are of course not restricted to one particular user. Without being able to post any more nominations, my message had been immediately removed.
I see your diamond. You have all the tools to kick anyone out of the site if you identify that they are really trying to stir things up. But before confirmation of that, I request civil treatment in the room.

@alex indeed but there is a spectrum of escalation.

please close. I have mentioned in comment a question which deals with one of the formulas. But in any case the question lacks context.

I tried to look at the profile of that person but aparently there is no account for math.se, only anime.se. Seems fishy.

@supinf I hope either you’re being facetious or you didn’t read the edit, or maybe both...

@rschwieb i did read the edit, and I was joking, sorry

@rschwieb: strange that there is an undelete vote also on that question.

@ParamanandSingh A user requesting undeletion of his/her own question isn't a special privilege is it? I was assuming it was the OP.

Oh i forgot that case

@XanderHenderson Good call!

@XanderHenderson three downvotes, two delete votes... feel free to cast the last delete vote.

Just in case we are in need of examples: another example of a PSQ at a higher level of mathematics.
@amWhy I try not to cast delete votes, as my votes are binding and permanent. It is always possible (however unlikely) that the answerer will come back and fix the issues which need fixing.

@amWhy Score is now 1-4

@AlexanderGruber Did you have a chance to read some of the feedback to your earlier question?
yesterday, by Alexander Gruber
does anyone have any other thoughts or ideas on how we could induce or encourage systematic change? something to steer the culture away from poor questions more durably?
