There is a dot in the third row which does not seem to fit the grid. Is this intentional? If not, can you please upload an image which doesn't give the impression of irregularity? Can you also please provide a source for this problem, as well as any other relevant details about the context in which this problem was presented? I could see this as a contest problem (for which one type of answer might be expected), or as a problem in a combinatorics course (for which another type of answer might be appropriate). — Xander Henderson Jun 28 at 14:16

Makes no sense to leave it around for future students to be utterly confused with the accepted answer.

@XanderHenderson Frankly, your answer does not hit the nail on the head either. You need to emphasize in bold capitals that in the table the probability of each outcome is the same, which is the only reason why we can just count them and divide by total number of possible outcomes. Otherwise we can do nothing.

Obviously, you already know this, but it seems to me that 99% of all the questions and answers on this issue don't get it.
