Needs Details Or Clarity Continuity does not imply differentiability‭ - Dana Shay‭ 2020-04-07 15:29:17Z
^^^ HNQ question is does not showcase the best that MSE has to offer. Let's get it off of the HNQ so that something better can replace it, eh?

@XanderHenderson The highest voted answer is more outrageous though...

@YuiToCheng Note my comment on that answer.
I appreciate the cheekiness of the answer, and it is certainly well-aligned to the level of the question, but I don't think that this answer is at all useful. I have downvoted, and flagged it as "not an answer" (as it doesn't seem to attempt to actually answer the question). — Xander Henderson 2 mins ago

@XanderHenderson Agree. It's better put as a comment.

@XanderHenderson I too flagged it. We should have much higher quality standards for answers (jokes belong in comments if anywhere).

@amWhy It is more just a symptom of the fact that I bought an apple laptop with a terrible keyboard.

@XanderHenderson hehehehe lol

I can't Windows, I don't want to manage a Linux system again, but boy-oh-boy Apple wants me to never buy another Apple product again.

@XanderHenderson Probably a learning curve thingy. Once you get the hang of the terrible keyboard, it might just work for you. But I get what you're saying, bit time!

The problem is that the terrible keyboard is broken. It is one of those butterfly switch keyboards. The "D" key literally fell off, and several of the keys only work about half of the time.
I need to take it into a shop to get it replaced, but I have so little free time.
Also, COVID-19.

@XanderHenderson Yikes...sort of a nightmare scenario, particularly when one has much work to do!!

Indeed.

My s key is beginning to fail on this macbook
I spent 2 years with a powerful System76 laptop, but the downsides wore me down completely. Very glad to have this mac workstation. The only issue is the key...

@rschwieb I've been using Apple computers for more than 30 years (my first Macintosh as a Mac II in 1987). I have too much workflow developed over that time to want to try to change now. It is not that I am particularly in love with OS X (though I'm happy enough with it), it is just that I have workflows which have developed over three decades which I don't want to change.

@XanderHenderson Good call! Thought it will not reflect well on the OP's question history, if they continue to ask such poor questions.

This answer just got another random downvote. I really wish I understood the apparent hostility that folk have for it. I made further edits to address the comments from last year, but, honestly...
