@SmokeDetector The question and title have been edited. That being said, the question itself is a problem from a competition exam, plus a link to the exam .pdf. I don't think that it is of any great lasting value.

It's also sad that some of the highest rep cherry pickers continue to pollute the site by posting low-quality FGITW answers to obvious dupe FAQs e.g. here and here (and countless others), even after being politely asked numerous times to instead strive help to organize the site rather than continue to disorganize it. If anyone has ideas on how to alleviate this I'm all ears. Maybe more peer pressure?

@JyrkiLahtonen I know you've though above much about the above and related problems so I'm curious to know if you have any ideas to help alleviate such.
