@JoséCarlosSantos @RRL @darijgrinberg: This mathematically terrible post claims that (−1)^(2/2) is not the same as (−1)^1... This post is equally bad.

PSQ that is likely a cheating attempt still needs delete-votes. (For the record, the user's original username was "firex secred".)

Is $\omega$ is a solution of $x^2+x+1=0$, find $\omega^{10}+\omega^5+3$ really a duplicate of Polynomial division: Is this trick obvious? and Prime factor of $A=14^7+14^2+1$? They are surely related, but the question does not ask for an explanation of a specific technique, or for a prime factor.

@MartinR They are all instances of the same idea(s) It is really sad that some folls are working against abstract dupe closures. The site will soon be cluttered with hundreds of essentially duplicate answers to these FAQs. So much for organization... the masses think they know better.

didn't we agree that interesting question + sufficiently old = no delete vote cascade?
D15 is that case
same for D11, an important theorem
