This question was well asked, and the asker took the open problem at the the end of my answer and used it to provide their own answer. I would like to put a small bounty on that question to reward the original asker, but it seem that I can't? Is this because I answered it?

> A bounty can be started on a question two days after the question was asked.

@MartinSleziak Ah! Okay, I thought that might have been the issue, so I loaded up the front page to see if I could start a bounty on another question. I could, so I assumed that timing was not the issue. It turns out that the question from the front page that I selected was not as new as I would have assumed.
Thanks.
I've pinned the message to remind myself to come back to it in a couple of days.

I'd guess this would be more on-topic in Math Meta chat - but probably a short digressions from the topic of this room are (occasionally) tollerated.

@MartinSleziak Perhaps you are right. I kind of think of this room as a clearinghouse for dealing with specific questions, both good and bad. I seem to recall that we have had conversations about adding a "B" to the acronym in order to indicate "bounties".

Becured! Is superior to crude.

@XanderHenderson As far sa I know, a separate room devoted mainly to bounties is planned.

Yup yup. I require no attribution. I only regret that I only have but one life to give for this math website.

"Be Cured!" To incorporate bounty.

Well... i thought it was superior back then too...

I was wondering how such an onboarding chat could work in tandem with CRUDE to both improve question quality, and to mitigate any un-welcomeyness of newcomes having their questions downvoted, closed and deleted: chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/86992/welcome-to-mse. In the interests of ensuring the two rooms work well in tandem rather than at cross-purposes, I wondered which if any regular CRUDE users might want to become an admin of that room.

Not sure whether it's on-topic in this room or not; just wanted to point out that I found strange that this (bad) question received 3 upvotes in about 15 minutes:
https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/3038693/resolution-of-differential-equation
I've already flagged and downvoted it, but I'm notifying here because the upvotes may be unnoticed in the review queue.
