@amWhy I posted the question here, then got called away to deal with my 6 year old daughter while looking for a dupe target (which I eventually gave up on). At this point, I have voted to close and downvoted.
It is a pity that the semi-synchronous nature of online chat can cause misunderstandings. ;)
To be fair, it was probably rude of me to leave without saying something to the effect of "Yo, AFK, brahs (and @amWhy)!" :P
Hrm... I am, perhaps, a little bit drinked. Martini on an empty stomach maybe not a good idea.

@MikePierce Those posts are sometimes quite old (and are all closed instead of "put on hold"). What do you mean by aren't open for deletion yet?
 
Yeah, these ones are all open for deletion. Sometimes you post some questions that are closed, but more recent and not open for deletion, and I wonder why. Are they just not open for deletion to me but other users with higher rep can vote for deletion?

@MikePierce I haven't looked at the questions in question, but there are differences in when one can vote to delete. Trusted users can vote to delete closed questions with a score of -3 or lower immediately. User with between 10k and 20k need to wait three days.

Trusted users are allowed to perform trusted actions, including:

Voting to delete answers with score of -1 or lower
Voting to undelete answers except those deleted by a moderator
Voting to delete questions with a score of -3 or lower immediately after they are closed

This answer seems to have a (non-Platonic) philosophical relative.
 
How do you define an attempt in measurement? I never heard of this term outside of this answer

@XanderHenderson Unfortunately, this user has a long history on Israeli math forums.
Many a bachelor students tried to reason with him. You hear stories left and right, pretty much everywhere you go where people from the internet age (under 40, say) have mathematical degrees.
