I wonder whether this room should be mentioned in comment (or maybe even in an answer) to this question on meta: Request in chat to downvote a specific answer.

@MartinSleziak Absolutely! That's precisely on topic in this chatroom. Go for it!

No wait! I was going for it! x.x

Feel free to go ahead. I mainly wanted to point out the question to more active users of this room.
Oh, I see, it's already there. :-)
We openly do this already in CRUDE, and we don't try to hide it. See also: List of chatroomsSimply Beautiful Art 1 min ago

:P
@AloizioMacedo Hello and welcome to, um, not my realm, but someplace that may be interesting to you.

@SimplyBeautifulArt I have added one more comment - since I did not want to give impression that the main business of this room is to come here and choosing which post to delete. (Especially since the OP explicitly asks whether this is ethical, I thought that it is useful to be careful with the formulation.)

Okie dokie

Have a look at my comment - I hope I did not misrepresented what this room should be (and is) used for.

@MartinSleziak That's a great addition!

SBA has given a link to List of chatrooms - if somebody reads a description there or the room topic, that should be enough to get basic understanding what the room is for. But I did not want to let somebody who sees only comments on this question and nothing else to get a false impression.

:D
@SimplyBeautifulArt open for deletion now

@amWhy Concerning your comments about self-deletion here: math.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/27490/…
> You can’t delete your own question when it: a) has an upvoted answer or, b) has an accepted answer, or c) has multiple answers (even if there are no upvotes).
So this probably was the case of "multiple answers" in the situation described there. (The point is now moot, since some answers gained upvotes in the meantime.

This question needs more downvotes, to be open for deletion. In particular, it won't get auto delete because a "do it form them" answer is upvoted. It is a bare problem statement, with a request for us to tell them how to think. math.stackexchange.com/questions/2549425/… I understand waiting on its deletion.

The above quote is from the FAQ on deletion.

@MartinSleziak Thanks for that clarification; I'll now be more informed. I knew about a, b. But not c. (I think I was remembering the auto delete criteria)

Yes, for auto-delete it's different: math.stackexchange.com/help/roomba

@DanielFischer The page you linked says "These checks are run every week across all sites.", presumably referring to the first two checks, but for this case the question (rejected migration) must be more than 30 days old, so we have to wait...

@user21820 Right. I stopped reading too early. It seems the language there is a bit imprecise. The question is older than 30 days, so by the wording it should qualify. Actually, it likely must have been closed for 30 days to qualify.
