I have seen in many answers something like: "This answer was marked as spam or offensive and is therefore not shown - you can see the revision history for details. "
This is done automatically, if the post gets some number of flags, right?
If something like that is not done by software (as is the case of the post linked above), should we do the same thing manually? (So that the answer is not shown to 10k+ users - unless they explicitly want to see it and click on the "revision history" link.)

@MartinSleziak According to Oded's post, even one spam flag should be enough, if it's a helpful one. However, this is not the case: I have a spam flag on that post, and it's marked helpful, yet the answer is still shown.
I suggest reporting a bug.
It seems that a mod did not apply their (binding) spam flag to the post but instead destroyed the user. This led to automatic deletion of their post, and validated the flags on it. But did not result in the content-censoring notice.

@Normal Will you report the bug or should I do it? (I am mainly asking because you know more than I do about this. If I post it, I will mainly copy/rephrase some think you told me here or linked to.)

I don't have a Meta.SE account, so... I won't do it.

Are you just kidding about not having meta.SE account?
Either I am loosing my memory, or I distinctly remember that you commented on some of my posts there.

To be more precise, I don't have it anymore.

In any case, thanks for the reply, I will report the bug.
I hope it is ok if I link to this chat. (Mainly to your comment confirming that there was a flag on the post.)

OK

I did my best to describe the possible bug here.
