@anorton It seems you're correct. (At least I did not find by browsing lists of linked questions some integral with incorrectly chosen duplicate.)

@anorton It was deleted by OP, which is a reason why some people might be hesitant to vote to undelete. To me it seems a reasonable questions, I voted to undelete.

Possible duplicate? Being aware of changes in some question or answer seems to me as a duplicate of Mark problems as “notify me if answer is posted”?.

The latter asks (as one of the questions) whether it is possible to "get all notifications that you would get if you were the original poster". The newer question is formulated less clearly, but it seems that the OP wants the same thing (or at least something very similar).

I did not vote to close yet - I'll wait whether somebody following this room will agree with my assessment or suggest a better candidate for duplicate questions.

On second thought, the second post seems to be concentrated more on questions and it has several subquestions. So maybe it is not an ideal candidate for duplicate.
