Of course, the same moderator will come along and delete these comments. I once posted a comment saying I was critical of him downvoting well-written answers on topics like PDEs.. and it got deleted soon enough. It is just abuse of power, completely poor behaviour all around.

(See previous comment.) This actually made me laugh pretty hard, but I didn't realize that if you click 'Close' then it will open a menu which allows you to see why the close votes have been cast. I was afraid to click it because I didn't want to cast a close vote on my own question.

So the close votes are for: "Some forms of context include: background and motivation, relevant definitions, source, possible strategies, your current progress, why the question is interesting or important, etc." I still don't understand which of these is missing from my post, but I'll think about it.

that being said, I find only good mathematics in your question, there’s nothing wrong about it, don’t think too much about the close votes.
