Attention: Charcoal is participating in the network-wide strike, so will remain shut down until this AI policy is dropped.
So there will be no messages from SmokeDetector for some time.

@MartinSleziak Can the background of this strike be explained shortly ?

10:05 AM
@Peter The link in the previous message goes to an open letter related to the strike. And there is a post on Meta Stack Exchange: Moderation strike: Stack Overflow, Inc. cannot consistently ignore, mistreat, and malign its volunteers.
But I am not sure whether this qualifies as "short".
If somebody is willing to summarize it in a few sentences, it would better be somebody who followed this activity more closely - so I am not a suitable candidate.

I noticed that Pedro, Aloizio Macedo, Alexander Gruber, and Paramanand Singh are among the moderators who signed the open letter.

@MartinSleziak So , flagging posts is pointless at the moment ? I did not quite get what this strike is exactly about , but it seems that the artificial intelligence again causes tremendous damage. Why can't people use their natural intelligence instead ?

@Peter TBH it seems more like a question for the mods. But you could certainly try and see whether the flag is handled or not.
I think there were (?are?) some flags which simply move a post to a review queue and do not necessarily need input from the moderators.
I think VLQ flags should work in this way.

undelete - OP deleted after my answer, mods are not responding to flag

@HankScorpio one more undelete-vote needed
