@XanderHenderson I see that the delete option has now appeared under math.stackexchange.com/a/967954/21813 (it wasnt there when i posted my previous comment above); am i correct to surmise that this automatically happens when an Answer's score goes below -2? i clicked on it, and why isn't it not asking me for a delete reason? this is a little concerning because not all negatively-voted answers are wrong or worth deleting. i do remember seeing deleted questions with
delete reasons though, so im confused about at which point this reason is issued, and if the Deletion is in fact triggered by another process/user contrary to my above surmise. if there is a good Meta overview of what im trying to ask, maybe just lemme know and ill try searching it myself, thanks!
Second question: for a Question such as this one, what sort of close reason is appropriate? Questions that ask about very isolated typos, or Questions where the only point of interest is the OP's typo or carelessness, or Questions such as this asking about why Garbage Book says garbage X or gaybage Y. thanks again.

@ryang You are never asked for a delete reason, as I recall, once you have the ability to vote-to-delete (rather than flag for deletion).

A: Requests for Reopen & Undeletion Votes (volume 01/2022 - today)

Oliver DíazThis question was deleted in 2021 by a moderator. I request that it is undeleted and reopen. The original complain from some users was that it was a question from the American mathematical monthly in 2021, and already has some answers there which are different form those posted in MSE.

Policy Matter A post by Gerry Myerson in the Mod Office Chat raises a policy matter: now that delete wars are impossible (due to 1 vote limit), should prior delete war locks be removed so that the community (vs. 1 user) can decide on the deletion? Please discuss there - not here.
Note that SE claims that such moderator locks should never be permanent - see Gerry's linked post for the SE policy statement.
