It is not clear what kind of answer you are looking for here. Why are you trying to find these groups? What is the motivation for the problem? @XanderHenderson I've voted to close the question, and dv'd, because you are right: insufficient context. PT seems only to have encouraged the first commenter to post his GAP-dependent solution as an answer. I replied to PT, suggesting that CAS systems to generate solutions do not assist the asker to learn how solve it without the aid of CAS. Such tools are only useful when one has already acquired a solid understanding of proceeding without it.
 
@amWhy That is my feeling, but I also know that classifying groups can get out of hand fairly quickly, and that there may not be "by hand" methods, even for relatively small groups. Thus when I see questions like this, I am not sure how close to the line things might be. Note that this is more about my lack of expertise than anything else.

@XanderHenderson What bothers me mostly, is that such comments/answerers, presume the OP knows how to use GAP, has access to GAP, and has learned the syntax. Else, such an answer amounts to "trust me: here the answer from GAP". that's like answering a question about the roots of a quadratic as follows: $x_1= 3, x_2= 7$.

If the asker said "I am trying to solve Problem X, and it turns out that part of solving this problem is that I need to have an enumeration of the subgroups of $G$. I don't really care how I get that list, I just need it!" then a computer based answer would be fine.

@XanderHenderson You know what I feel about CAS: A student needs to learn information they are going to need to use in exams, or in finals, etc. Typically, such environments (GRE MATH EXAM, e.g.) to not allow such access. So with the OPs best interest in mind, since the GRE, Qualifying exams test a students math knowledge, not their prowess in using CAS's, I think I made a very valid point, without in any way whatsoever speaking to the motives of the asker.
 
I agree. My understanding of your comment was that it was directed at the answerer, who provided an answer which was going to be useless to someone who needed to take an exam.

I would recommend against calling out other users, please. I understand your frustration, but I don't think that calling out others is productive, or likely to lead anywhere useful.
 
@XanderHenderson That is absolutely fine with me, so long as the other user doesn't use their powers to harm me. And currently, the consequent remains uncertain, given said users behavior wrt me.
@Xander I will steer clear of doing so. Period, But if that other "user" persists in unseemly, inappropriate, rash accusatory behavior against me, I need to know "they will be handled, just like any user doing so." Hence my earlier request for the equivalent of a restraining order against said user.

I think that you are blowing things out of proportion a bit, but please rest assured that we have had, and likely will continue to have, conversations about moderation.
I will give you the same advice that our SE overlords gave me, as a moderator: if someone is pissing you off, disengage, and ask for another set of eyes.

@XanderHenderson I'd suggest you tell that to the other party, unless you'd risk messing up the sacred mod brotherhood. And the commandment "Thou shalt always find a regular ole user at fault, whenever a mod misbehaves and loses it against a reg ole user".
 
@amWhy The code of conduct and the culture of SE insists that the moderation teams act as single entities. Even if we have knock-down drag-em-out fights behind closed doors, we do everything we can to present a united front to the community. I am sorry if this makes it look like there is a "brotherhood" or some kind of conspiracy going on.

@amWhy I usually tend to comment on threads, and probably tilt towards the OPs side too much. If it helps: this is more a thing of me being overprotective of new contributors and being worried about what I hear in the web about how people see the site. It is not about anything else.

@PedroTamaroff No need. I understand. What stumped me was I was trying to help the OP, as well. I should have perhaps just addressed the issue of GAP, in a possible answer. I spent a few years after my majors (undergrad) in the Peace Corps, and saw first had how little many students (Africa, Middle East) had in terms of supplies, let alone, technology. But I can understand, given my reference to tests, quizzes, why the first thought to you was that I was assuming the OP was taking a test at that
...moment! I had no such assumptions; just wanting to help a student who may not have ready access to Gap. But I do understand your concern, and I appreciate your concern for new users.

Algorithms are, I think, on-topic here. Implementations are not, but they don't seem to be asking for code.
On the other hand, I am a little confused about what the actual question is.
But it looks like a graph theory or network theory question, and I don't know those areas well.
My gut says that it is barely on-topic here, but that it isn't likely to get a good answer, because the underlying issue is one which might better be answered elsewhere. Is there some kind of network implementation SE?

@XanderHenderson Based off evidence here, MSE mathematicians should probably have 0.00001 points. Replace that grid of resistors by some definite integral and the bus would've taken five more lives.
