@Peter is often incorrectly used, personally I don't think its existence is really that useful as (most) questions with said tag either belong to or MO

@Xander Rhetorical question: why are there so many posts on meta with suggestions about how to reach out to askers, to inform them, to tell them why posts are being closed or downvoted, to provide popups, videos, be soft on them, instruction, tutorials, to be nice to them (each identified by SE instructing all users to be kind to them, and so little concern expressed about the sense of entitlement some askers have when coming here and repeatedly expecting us to do their homework for them?
^^^Not completely rhetorical. We are volunteers here, who support this site in many many ways to enable askers to have a place to get assistance and learn, but both SE and the majority of posts on meta seem to excoriate users for expecting askers to behave like community members, as well. In that they need to respect users just as we are asked to respect them, and part of that means learning about the site and what is expected of them.
Maybe I should stop right now, because a couple of posts on meta today just seem to miss the point entirely. Anyway, I'm done ranting now. But I can't take much more of the self-entitled askers and the self-serving answerers who want to ingratiate them, even if only for their own ends.
