@user21820 With respect to the delete votes, out of the 15 you post immediately above, more than half of them you duplicate posted prior to this, so I clicked on more than half of them, then clicked delete, only to learn "I already voted to delete". That's a big time drain. I can live with having already voted previously on three maybe four questions from your previous deletion request matrices, but, I get really frustrated at the time drain I experience on days like today.

@amWhy I understand. I don't have a solution in mind. Please suggest if you have another way of dealing with posts that have been posted before, usually about 2 weeks ago, but have not been settled yet.
I also have many times clicked "delete" on a post only to find I have already voted before, and there seems absolutely no way to know before clicking.

Like I said, I don't mind a few (even less than half of 15 I'm okay with that, @user21820. And it's hard to keep track of what one's already voted to delete. I don't at all mind "re-delete" requests, because, (unlike close votes), one can re-delete anything they've previously deleted, if it was undeleted. I don't know what the solution is, either.

@amWhy Ok I'll try to spread them out. Typically, it comes in bunches, perhaps when too few people saw them the last time round. So if I have voted on many before, I can spread them out.
Hope that will help.

@user21820 Most of the time, you do spread them out; but yes, I understand that for various reasons, some posts may get more overlooked than others, depending on folks schedules, time, etc.

I'd like to apologise here for answering a few PSQs lately. There's no excuse.

@Shaun I get it, Shaun. It can be tempting... kind of an adrenaline rush, of sorts. Once in a while, we all slip. That's okay. Just try to maintain the integrity you've shown consistently; then a slip or two is fine.

9:48 PM
Just a teeny bit of a rant/observation: four of the top ten overall rep users on this site regularly post answers to PSQ, and particularly so, 2 of the users with over 300k. Often the answers from those two consist of merely a sentence or two. Neither of those two answerers show any particular skill other than basic Frosh/Soph undergrad stuff. Perplexing how two of the top four get away with it, over and over again.
And 7-8 of the top 16. (The "8th" candidate is iff/they've gotten a bit more selective, so seven of 16, for sure...). I don't care about their rep or ranking, but the fact that a lot of users/answerers think what they do is perfectly fine, "models" per se.
If my rant/observation is deemed by a sizable number of other frequent users here, to be off topic, I will move it to trash.

@RRL : I got through DA-DG, but have no delete votes left; I'll return when my votes are replenished in an hour or two, or if I get caught up in a movie, then bright and early tomorrow i.e., within 12 hours.

@amWhy Alas, tis true that many of the highest rep users got most of their rep by picking cherries - and continue to do so. Many of their answers are (low quality) dupe answers to dupe FAQs. Almost always all answers in such FAQs are also dupe so the thread should be closed and deleted. That's how I deal with this in my tags. If more folks did likewise it would greatly improve site quality. But, of course, it's a lot more work to close as a dupe than for lack of context etc.
In case you missed it, as I explained here in the past, generally I don't close for lack of context etc except in extreme cases. Rather I instead use duplication - since I think this is a better way to improve site quality (doesn't flush the baby with the bath water)

@BillDubuque Thanks for confirming what has always confused me about two of the top four, and at least five additional users in the top 16.
@BillDubuque That's not a bad idea, given that virtually every PSQ asked now has been asked and answered before!
@Bill, I will certainly spend more time on finding dupes (which is certainly easier for me to do in elementary set theory, logic, questions about proofs using induction, and discrete math stuff, but I've also been here long enough to recognize when I've seen something before. ...
But I can't yet abandon other means of closure, particularly when the post is both a PSQ, and to some degree, rude (see, e.g., my meta post here. Students desperately need to learn that how they communicate impacts their success in their coursework.
