I just shove an old wornout cleat in each pedal if I have to ride it with flat shoes.

I just... ride it with the shoes... unless you're trying to hop with flat shoes and clipless pedals, it really isn't so difficult...

Can be uncomfortable, specailly if your shoes are a bit thin, like business shoes. For chunky school-shoes its totally fine. That's just my experience anyway.

Yay. Fork and head set fit perfectly in the frame I bought at Christmas.

I found out it is welded from a Dedacciai tube set of 7003 T6 aluminium.

Next hurdle is paint.

I've looked up 2k primer, paint, clear coat.

Costs about €50, plus another €25 for a mask and filters.

Spray.Bike has bad reputation for durability.

€35 for primer, paint, coat (cheaper mask good enough)

Powder coating may start at €100 plus 2x shipping

Its a bare frame now, right ?

I'd totally pop for powder coating.

plus you have to pick a colour :)
