I've finally found out what my bar tape is.
The stuff is extremely comfortable yet sturdy.
And it looks very much like this without the logo:
Now I found the Merida stuff as well.
Used part of the description of the prologo tape.
Unfortunately I found it only at obscure web stores.
(btw, costs only half as much as the prologo stuff; I should pay more for not having an obnoxious logo on it.)
FSA also has a gel griptape that looks similar.
Reading between the lines of a road.cc article I think that the following stuff is the same as the tape by FSA:
