Can someone explain why a question about back of the envelope size estimation on a systems design would be closed? It seems design related and design is a acceptable topic. And it doesn't seem like the question would fit on any of the other stack exchange sites. Whoever closed it didn't leave a reason... softwareengineering.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/9214/…

Nevermind, I see what I did. When I search for the right place to post my question, it gave me a link to the meta site rather than the actual site and it wasn't clear to me. I deleted the post and put a new one in on the correct site. Guess that was my own fault for trusting where Google sent me.
