This is way too broad and can be solved in many ways. But I can tell you that it is a really bad idea to make Customer extend from Account. Think about it... "a Customer is an Account"... mmm, no... probably "a Customer has an Account" sounds more logical. So, you should approach it like a composition instead of inheritance. In StackOverflow you should ask something more specific to programming and ask this question here: softwareengineering.stackexchange.comSeba D'Agostino 27 secs ago

Or it might be a question of programming technique and best practices. Would it fit better on another Stack Exchange site? softwareengineering.stackexchange.comjkdev 36 secs ago

@RobertHarvey regarding your comment in recently deleted question, over at Math.SE, this is a totally legitimate, polite and very popular usage of "hint:". At our site, I haven't ever seen its usage discussed, not to mention community agreed to label it negatively. Which though would be irrelevant because I use it only when talking to Math.SE regulars with proven familiarity with their site, who are guaranteed to get it right...
...also I am not comfortable with your labeling list of supporting examples irrelevant

Yep, I think it may fit better over on softwareengineering.stackexchange.com. — Michael Wu 50 secs ago

What does this question specifically have to do with C++ ? It seems a decent candidate for an algorithm tag instead, or even the software engineering stack exchange site. — WhozCraig 20 secs ago
